Whats best now for the 1500 ?

There are lots of patches and updates, but whats the best set up now for a 1500.

Its been a long time, last time I looked at sat stuff was in the old D2 MAC days :D

Anyway I have a 85 dish, and motorised H-H.

1 )Should I update the 1500 with the latest firmware from technosat ?
2) Download TM loader 187
3) find a patch software ?? whats the best and version ?
4)Get some keys ?
5) choose viewing list or dowload one or blind scan ?
6) TPS,, (Dont know what this is ) uploat or not ?

The FAQ, is good, but looks like there have been lots of patches, and no comparison , if that makes sense.

I think you mean from technomate , not technosat

load the latest technomate firmware , and the latest magic patch , and the latest compass tmsoftcam as well to get the keys in

scan for channels using transponder details on the best satellites

tps is no longer open , try digi tv on 1 west for now

I find that my TM-1500 patched as set out by Echelon and coupled with a Diablo CAM (for C + on 1W mainly) gets a lot more use than my DreamBox DM500. It's a pretty good combo even now.

Thanx, sorry was a late post , I have a TM-1500.
I will move my dish this weekend as I can only get to 10 Deg East and no less. The TM-1500 just to get some channels for my wife who speaks portuguese , I have Globo, Sic and now need TPA, at 7 E. As usual I am getting the bug again so thats why I want to set the box up as best as poss at the moment. Maybe I will get another cam if my range of sats gets better this weekend.
