ITV red button

Just got my TM6900 super. Not quite sure how to get ITV HD. Do I just select ITV 1 and press the red button on the Technomate remote when I know a HD programme is on, or is it a different transponder from ITV 1?

Broadcast on Eurobird 1 at 11.428 GHz . a symbol rate of 27500, and a service ID of 10510. at 28E. Scan and rename 10510 to ITV HD, that's it.
Technomate will need Magic patch.

Why do I need a patch for FTA Bob?

You can't see the ITV HD signal as they have defined the video stream as a h222 private data stream. Unless you have a STB which allows you to define the video, audio and PCR PIDs then you can't see it.

ive just got a freesat box and with itv only setain programs are in hd you will get a red dot in the top right hand corner when you get this just press the red button on your remote and it will then go to hd

well that is how the humax freesat box works

All dedicated freesat receiver’s work in this way; you also get the EPG;
I believe the Humax receiver will also drive a DiSEqC motor through one of the hidden menus.
