got meself a 50inch LCD rea projection tv and the 1st problem i've had is my blue color when everi put dvd films on when using me LCD and now the sound keep going up/down plus my tv last night went black then white then came back to the normal tv picture, the picture is grainy, i was told it was my 2-400 lamp but im thinking its more and if i shell out £170 for a new lamp it may not solve the trouble,

A friend has one and same problem -- opened the back and took out the lamps found one had blown and bought one of flea-bay cheap and fixed the problem.
Thikn he paid £150 for the bulb. But I think you can notice when a bulb is blown is its very dark where the bulb is!
