Is there a suitable blue-ray rom that fits because would like to make use of the the DMs Hi Def graphics capability ?

Answering my own question it look like this might work if the drivers are there on the DM - Optiarc BC-5500S Internal Notebook/Laptop 2x Blu-ray Combo Black SATA (OEM) - £146.79 inc VAT. Any views ?

I believe that there are no Blu-ray drivers yet

DM8000 does not output 1080P

Therefore, Why would you want Blu-Ray?

The whole point of Blu-ray is to output 1080P.

Xanadu, I can assure you that 1080i from Blue-Ray is streets ahead of DVD relative to the marginal benefit of 1080p v 1080i - no competition !
