My panansonic 42 viera got the dreaded 'purple snakes'. The TV was taken away and a new board installed, however the picture quality is definitely worse than the original (but without the 'snakes), could they have installed a lesser quality board?

but at the end of the day your the customer and if not happy ..they need to sort ?

I wish I could do summat like that for my TH-42PZ80B version, to get other langs into it, choose the time-zone etc.:nopity:
