With the latest version of Barry Allen [ 4.6.62 ] be aware that if you have a clone the latest wave of attacks could well be on the way,


If you have only WLAN enabled then the check of the MAC adress of the 8* will not work - as soon as I have my own 8k I will temporary enable the lan interface during the check (it doesn't hurt if nothing is attached), and then excusing will be over :-)

So it is simpy a check which is not armed yet, but it is there - like some others too :-)

well, changing a mac adress is easy, changing the bootloader is not that easy, and I can change the code too.

But this is not the point - If you are innocent and bough a clone you should know - and sue the guy who sold it to you.

But this is not Barry Allen's business.

If people use my software to create backup images which keep the clones running, then I'm simply not willing to support this !

If people use my software to boot images from CF/USB to avoid clone checks which work only in Flash, then I'm simply not willing to support this !

People looked away to often in the old days.
