After much :banghead: and a lot of reading I have finally managed to install navigator and the latest maps with my HTC TYTN ii. Here is a guide to how I did it

1. Intall Navigator 7.450 onto PDA

iDownload the files from here: hXXp://www.megaupload.com/?d=IEAJN5O0
Copy the .cab file to the pda
Find the file in file explorer and run. It doesn't matter if it's installed on your pda or storage card.

2. Run TomTom Navigator on your PDA then close it

3. Copy over the 7.910 files

Download navigator 7.910 from here: hXXp://rs430l3.rapidshare.com/files/159651520/B.79109185.QVGA.rar
Unrar the file
Overwrite navigator.exe and data.chk in your Navigator program files folder

4. find you device id from the ttnavigator.bif file

In your Programs folder for tomtom there is a file called ttnavigator.bif
On your pc, find that file on the PDA and copy it to your PC's desktop.
Open the file with notepad
Look for Device Unique ID and copy this down. It should look like AB3HEBMUM2

5. Downloaded the uk and ireland map.
Download these two files and unrar
hXXp://rs88l34.rapidshare.com/files/165902607/UK_Ireland_815.2024.part1.rar

hXXp://rs498tg2.rapidshare.com/files/165915177/UK_Ireland_815.2024.part2.rar

6. Patch the map

In the unrared folder there are two folders, easyusetool and the map folder
Open easyusetool> DeviceID.txt
Change the device id to the one we found earlier and close
copy "United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ir eland-22.m e t a" from the map folder and put it in the "insert_m e t a_from_Map_here" folder
Run "RunMeforDCT" in easyusetool. Select option 1 and option 1. It should say something like the Keygen is OK.
Open "insert_m e t a_from_Map_here" folder and copy the two files. Paste them into your map folder

7. Copy the map folder to the root of your pda memory card

8. Run navigator on the PDA. Maps should be found!

Hope this helps guys!!
