AB DSR receivers support 1/2 - 1/10 DiSEqC switches.
Make Factory setting before setting of DiSEqC switch: Menu – System – Factory set.
1. In Menu – Installation – Satellite collection - select satellites you want to receive.
Note: Receiver is able to store 3600 TV + Radio programs (maximum). If you use automatic scan you can spend all the capacity with just 3-5 satellites.
2. In Menu – Installation – LNB configuration - select desired satellite and press OK button, select DiSEqC item, confirm by pressing OK button, DiSEqC configuration submenu will appear.
3. If you use 1/2 or 1/4 DiSEqC switch: Enter corresponding DiSEqC Input number of LNB (that is intended to be used for receiving of selected satellite) into line “Committed”.
Example:
Your LNB for ASTRA 1D/3A satellite is connected to Input “3” of your 1/4 DiSEqC switch. In Menu – Installation – LNB configuration – Astra 1D/3A – DiSEqC – Committed set up „3“.
4. If you use DiSEqC switch for more than 4 LNBs (e.g. S.168 for 8 LNBs):
· In Menu – Installation – LNB configuration - select desired satellite and press OK button, select DiSEqC item, confirm by pressing OK button, DiSEqC configuration submenu will appear.
· Enter corresponding DiSEqC Input number of LNB (that is intended to be used for receiving of selected satellite) into line “Committed”, and Group of inputs number of the LNB according the table below into line “Uncommitted”:
DiSEqC Input number „Committed“ „Uncommitted“
1 1 1
2 2 1
3 3 1
4 4 1
5 1 2
6 2 2
7 3 2
8 4 2
Example:
Your LNB for ASTRA 1D/3A satellite is connected to Input “3” of your 1/8 DiSEqC switch. In Menu – Installation – LNB configuration – Astra 1D/3A – DiSEqC – line Committed set up „3“, line Uncommitted set up „1“.
Your LNB for Amos satellite is connected to Input “6” of your 1/8 DiSEqC switch. In Menu – Installation – LNB configuration – Amos – DiSEqC – line Committed set up „2“, line Uncommitted set up „2“.
