Octagon SF 918 HD Esata Drives

Has anybody had experience using esata drives with SF 918 HD box
can you suggest makes/sizes that work ?

types im looking at now price wise is :-

Seagate Freeagent Xtreme in 500GB or 1TB
La Cie in 500 GB
