they range from £35 for the "techno techno" to £80 for the yaeger with the others motek ect falling in the middle ,any advice ,anyone got the techno!!is it speed difference or component quality or what!!

They are much all the same really.

The cheapest can be as good as the more expensive ones.

The only problem with some is that they have a high loss at certain frequencies.

Got mine several years ago, ....it does not have a brand name but it replaced a more expensive Humax one which had very high signal loss.

im using the gbox vbox. works very well, and very cheap.

There are two versions green and blue, the blue lets you name satellites.

cheers m8,is it basically the same as a vbox2,hopefully wont need to name sats on it ,just want to set it up to db800 and let that do the work,

avoid the superjack vbox 2 as mine has a buzzing noise which can be heard easily when tv is off which is annoying but this could be just down to a faulty component in mine.

the gbox v3000/4000 i have read good reviews of

you could get a receiver with a 36volt positioner and use that to move the dish

thats what i have m8,an echostar 2600ip,looking to use a v-box to save messing about with loads of remotes and clear my A/V rack a bit,as i say let my new dreambox 800 move the dish,,ill check out the gbox,,thanks
