Channel 4 HD? 669 patch

Forgive my ignorance. I have patched my TM6900super LAN for the first time with 669 (18/1/09) I get BBC and ITV HD fine. I have an old expired Sly card that I use in my old Sly box to get Channel 4.
Channel4 HD does not open on my patchedTM. Should it?
If I put my old Sly card in my Dragon CAM will that work for CH4HD?
HELP please.

I use an expired sly card for C4 HD in a TM 6900 Super Combo, but I have to put it back in the sly box once a month to keep it working. I don't have sly, just the old box that I kept when I told them to go P**s up a rope. It gets all the Free to air channels and updates the card too. Hope this helps.

ch4 hd works ok when the card is in the internal slot of the 6900

but as above make shure it is updated
this can be done by putting back in sky box or dreambox running cccam
as it wont update in the 6900

Hi,
I have noticed that with the669P software in the 6900 Super to get Ch 4 one needs to go to Ch4 then to a FTA channel say BBCHD then back to Ch4 and it then opens OK then on. If you go into standby you will need to repeat the above.
On the old 6900 (with it's 669P) no messing, picture & sound almost immediately. I note that card support is still present if you turn the patch off using 2004, so this only switches off the emulator.
As stated Card needs to be left in a *** box overnight once a month to keep it updated.

I've got the 669 patch ( 18/1/09 ) on my 6900 super combo and I haven't noticed any problems opening C4 HD. I just select it and bingo, up it comes. I sometimes get a "No signal or bad channel" message with other FTA channels, but it hasn't happened with C4 HD yet. To sort it out I select another channel, wait for it to open and then go back to the channel that wouldn't open. It opens OK after this. Strange, may be something with the tuning arrangement.

I have a subscription card in my 6900 internal slot and it updates itself ok as its been in there for 3mths and i still get the subscribed channels.

Tried putting the card taken from my Sly box into the dragon, Nothing happening. What frequency is the Ch4 HD opening on, a I only get CH4 on 1 frequency and not all the others showin?

if you put the card in the internal cam first to get hd this works 100 %

dont know why you want it to work in the dragon cam

dragon cam some versions of firmware dont like these cards make sure you have right firmware in the cam

I just put the card straight into the cardslot on my 6900, works fine without a cam.

I just logged on to tell everybody that I put my card in the card stot instead of the dragon and it worked fine!!!!
Seems I have been beaten to it with the info:respect-040:
Having not had a card slot on my previous box I naturally only thought of the dragon. You live and learn, thanks for all the replys:respect-055:

am i reading this right that some people get ch4 hd to open with patched 669 tm6900 - with no card sly involved - certainly doesn't on mine - just get scrambled channel

Got no CH4HD on mine without the Sly expired card. Cant see how anyone gets something that is part of the Sly boquet without it???

You need the sly card in the internal slot to watch ch4, 6900 also updates the card with the latest patches at least it does on mine.

Strange for the 1st tme in 4 mths my card hasnt updated in my 6900 could this be a patch problem ? I have used the latest patch for the last 2 weeks.
