Dm500 no signal...

hi.. i have try 3 differents images and upload with dreamUP but its can not

find transponder and lock SNR 34-58 % AGC 0% BER 8224

but my sat dish works with my dm600..

are tuner dead ?

and its a org. Db500 with latest gemini image..

This happened to me as well. Latest gemini, original box, before my signal went off, my ethernet connection would go on and off. Suddenly my ethernet connection went ok, but since then i get no signal whatever i have tried. New image, old image, gemini and others, used dreamup and lan to reflash, manual scan, dowloaded settings, nothing.

Yes. No problems with the dish either, as my second dreambox is working ok.

It's sounds like you are all suffering with the common problem of the tuner failing.
A quick google search brings up plenty of suppliers.

TUNER HAS FAILED I have 2 boxes like that I had pli changed to gemini back to PLI and tuner gone
Changing tuner is not easy as its no plug and play

for test take another receiver and make a loop connection for the dream and see if it tune at the same polarization


if you can tune channels then you a have a problem on power the tuner

you can take a multimeter and see the voltage out of the lnb connection

on dream 500 maybe is not the tuner but a mosphet near the tuner are damaged and you have to exchange it.

he already have one like that and change this mosphet and she is rolling again

I have been having this problem for some time now with my DM-500S,
my only fix is eg.go to the channel which has from 20 BER onwards lets say the frequency is 11961. Go to menu -> setup -> service searching ->
Manual Transponder Scan add 1 "one" or 2 "Two" so 11961 = 11962 or
11963 you will see that the Lock and SYNC will come on BER will be 0 press start scan when scan is finished -> press ok -> No -> 3x Exit you'll
see the channel back....Enjoy:respect-050:
