turn off the dm500s?

hi
i started cs free with ccam
should i turn off or put to standby the dreambox dm500s clone i have from time to time?
if i leave it turned on always will it burn?
when i put it to standby will it continue to share to the ccam servers?

I leave my dreambox's on 247, never tried with CCam but gbox will still share when in standby
