Here is a plugin for ac3 lip sync as an ipk file.

Just copy to /tmp and install via Green-Panel

A few people seem to get this Leeboy and BBC HD seems to be one that people mention.

For me I have no problem, not sure if it is how people have it set up or how their TV works with the DM800

i think it may be down to the img, i have no probs with BH0.7 but had plenty with gemini 3.7 & 3.8.

i find that the lip sync varies on a daly basis... sometime its perfect and sometimes its way out.. even on the same hd channel...

iv tried setting up the lip sync plug in which does work at the time :respect-062:

..... however... the next day the settings need adjusting again because its out again from how i previously set it and so it goes on...... :beatdeadhorse5:

so duz anyone know why it can be perfect one day and way off the next....

im using nabilo bh 12 img at the moment but it was the same on a few other images i tried aswell so im leaning towards that the image dosent affect it..! :respect-050:

By the sound of it, it's everyone who has an amp that seems to be getting the problem?! I personally don't have any problems with the lipsync at the mo (touch wood), but I play my audio directly through the tele (missus won't let me get surround sound because of all the wires/speakers :(). But don't really have any probs with the sync anymore.

So, my guess is that it could be down to the amps rather than the box? Or maybe even the optical cable used?!

mine dosnt make any differance through the amp or straight to the tv.. so im baffled to how it changes on a regular basis..!

Mine is only connected to the TV, I dont have an amp.

I going to try and connect another DVI - HDMI cable to the TV with a optical cable is if it's any different.

Also we might want to merge this with the outher post in this section about this problem.

when it happens to me, which is not very often, I just power off, wait a few seconds and than power back up and no problem, fixed. I run a TM-6900 HD combo super with Sony amp.

That's an interesting thought then martin. People who suffer quite badly with this lipsync, how often do you put your box in standby?! Probably not the problem, but maybe if some people don't put box in standby v often, then that could be the prob?!

I power off most nights as I could be away from home for a few days at a time.

But your right there it is hit and miss. Some times it's ok ish and other time it's really bad.

How often do you guys turn your box off?
There is a post in the general section some were about powering off STB's but can't find it at the moment

i never turn mine off... its always in standby..!
If always in standby, do you ever watch it?! :p hehe.

btw, I was talking about putting in to standby, as my box goes in to standby when not in use, but I know a lot of people leave their box powered on when not in use (i.e. not in standby)...

But since you put urs in standby, looks like that wipes out that theory...

im sure its not img based.. as it varies all the time..!

I've got to agree that it varies all the time and is random ... sometimes its fine, othertimes just off a little, othertimes way off ... its annoying watching a movie, but ok for the football, if it's just a little off ...

I have been leaving mine on standby for a week or two now.
Not powering it off at the wall.

Have to say it miles beter, but its only a fraction out of sync now.

It was miles out before when I used to turn it off at the wall, but better now but still not 100%
