Gemini E2 4.1 due out at the weekend

"And here we go again. Gemini E2 goes to Version 4.1

In the night from Saturday to Sunday we will release the 3 versions for the DM800,
DM7025 and DM8000.

We would be glad, if you join the release und post your feedback at the IHAD-Board.
Here the most important changes and fixes:

New:
* File-Manager extended (Information, display and favourites). It´s now eaysier to
achieve, simply press BLUE-RED
* In the channel list, the distance between the stations and the actual EPG event
can be changed by yourself (BP-> Settings-> General)
* At Dreamnetcast and the jukebox you can chose the background
* Menu´s extra/settings seperated. BP has partly new construction (Addons are now at
BP-> Settings to find)

Fix + Update:
* Formatting the Harddisk
* Dreamnetcast, Jukebox
* see CVS"

They decided to iron out a couple of bugs before releasing it so have put it back a bit !!

I thought all the issues with Jukebox and Dreamnetcast were fixed in gemini 4.0?

Gemini 4.0 runs OK for me so far. I will wait for sky EPG to be integrated or another major update before upgrading again. Thanks for the forecast, always nice to know when to expect things like this.

It's out now and I did try it but I was getting really bad pixelation on the HD channels so I went back to blackhole 0.07.

I added gemini 4.10 via barry and had a quick play about with it but still prefer nabilo bh07.

Didnt have any problems with HD at all tho !

I added Gemini 4.1 via Barry Allen on USB (I have Nab BH 0.7 in flash). I also have Gemini 4.0 on USB. The Gemini 4.1 image has picked up my settings from one of the other images but will not work ie. despite reconfiguring Tuner A to the correct satellite, LNB settings etc, does not register a signal. Have gone back to BH0.7 continues to work faultlessly but I like the facility in Gemini to pre allocate a CAM to a service or transponder. Any ideas ? I suspect it might be driver related ?

Carrpet I have the same set up with nabilo v7 in flash and gemani 4.1 on ba. My set up is working fine with no issues at all.

Thanks Kegnkiwi, I used the Enigma backup facility on BH0.7. I wonder whether this has installed the BH0.7 settings on Gemini 4.1 ? Kegnkiwi when you installed Gemini 4.1 did you have to go through the standard DM8000 set up routine. Following install mine was already configured, which was not what I was expecting. What was your experience Kegnkiwi ?
