DM500 Picture Quality.

Hi,

Im a bit of a Newbie to the Dreambox Scene.
Was hoping for some advice on how to connect my DM500 to my 52" LG Plasma TV for the best results, im currently using a Gold Scart Cable but have noticed the reciever comes with the Video\Audio Out cables?
Anyone got any preferences??

stick with the scart. To get anywhere near the best picture you will need a better reciever though. Analogue can look really bad on a 50"+ tv :(

Another option would be to stream the dm500 to a pc then connect the pc to the tv as you can then use the pc to scale the image to the optimal resolution of your tv

If your Tv has a component connect on it get yourself a scart to componnet cable (ccp preston) they cost about £5 pounds and the picture is fanastic.

Have to agrea m8 use a good scart cable its well worth it and its the best way.

Use a scart into av 1 of the tv, set the video output on the receiver to rgb...... that is as much as you can hope for without the expense of an upscaler..... this is fine though... good quality for everyday viewing..
