Had my Hummy 5400 for 10 years with no problems at all but it looks like it might be time to put it on the back burner and look at a Dreambox.
I know nothing about them so basically what can I get from the Dreambox 500 without card sharing ? Is an original DM500+ so much better than a cloned 500s ?, and as Goldwafers don't have any Dreambox product at all where's the best place to get one without getting screwed ?

Waste of time unless you go for card sharing. Clones are just as good as original.

OPens everything that is open cs is just an option not followed by myself but others here do . Clones are as good apparently but you have to avoid certain images as these may brick the stb. Not the easiest of boxes to start with but once sussed you wonder how you found it hard to set up. Once you have the box up and running it is simple to maintain, and can give hours of fun just messing with addons etc.
you will not clear anything more than with your old hummy and thats
public hacks , atm just digitv and few more small providers .
dreambox even though not the only one suited for cs is dead easy to setup , however keep in mind that you need something on your own to share to find partners .
