surly you would strive to get the best lnb though m8 ,i bought a syntec 2000 several years ago spose to be the best 70 odd quid what a peice of crap,ive had a sharp 0.3 for the last few years 15 quid still goin strong,brought in loads of channels across my arc id never seen before

Titanium 0.2 here, less than £15 and works very well with my Funke 1m dish, better than the Invacom unit it replaced.

LNB test in April 08 What Satellite magazine, this LNB performed best of all.

It is indeed a good lnb, but it draws 250mA .. so if using it with a motor its quite easy to cause problems with some receivers power supply which sometimes are limited to 350mA

Completely agree with yo here. I just bought and tested the highline and had exactly that issue i have a technomate 6900 system with 1meter dish :nopity: i found the lnb an inmprovement but as the lnb took much power if i wanted to move from say 30w to 18 west the motor wouldnt move it would only move if i went from one sat to the next and to the next ect so ive went back to the origanal lnb which is a lemon .2db single HD universal LNB which i know probley isnt the best out there was hoping for an improvment in single any suggestions on another lnb i wont have this problem that will give me an improvement for a similar price

I thought the power was cut to the lnb when the motor was activated

But thats exactly what Im trying to sy M8 - maybe not putting it quite right, but I too have the Sharp like you - and I took it off to try the MTI as everyone was crowing about how good it was and I had to go back to my Sharp as I lost a lot of 'marginal' chanels with the MTI which were aways pulled in with the Sharp!
So my point is that not everyone is right OR wrong, we all find different set ups suit different people - my Sharp is FAR superior to the MTI for ME, but not for everyone it seems!
