Bootloader modification?

Hello,

knows anyone which bootloader is used in the AZBox? Redboot or UBoot or something else?

On the AZBox Elite board, near the power pack are four not connected pins, which seems to be a internal rs232 port.

Connections from the white point (highest pin):
1. pin (white point) - VCC 3,3 V
2. pin - RX
3. pin - TX
4. pin - GND

Can someone connect these pins via a MAX232 with a serial terminal and making a boot log?

It should be possible to modify the bootloader, to boot from usb or network device (nfs).

Is there already some do***entation (description/tutorial) released about the linux boot procedure on the AZbox (bootloader, settings....). Has already someone tried to build a customized linux kernel and is there a source for the kernel configuration (eg zcat /proc/config.gz) ? I would test this on my personal box if it would be there. I am still waiting :(

We load a own Kernel last week.

Plus, the latest kernel is not used by the official team, isn't it the case?
