m8 you can do it via green button,if you have nab blackhole image
go green>yellow>addons download manager >enigma 2 settings
although i dont use them cannot see the point in putting loads of sats and channels you may not recieve, just scan each sat manually, though i cannot help with your gbox as i havnt sorted mine yet and am using my old echostar as positioner, but ive seen a thread explaining setup in db800 section

Hi simon
I thought you had abandoned me :)
I can get on to enigma web interface but i cant really do much on it apart from use remote control, i dont no if thats the right place to be to put in files.
I am reading the book that came with box but it dosnt make much sense.
I have tried simple set up and put in co ordinates as the book says then autoscan but nothing happens.
I will get there eventually
:)

I havnt got a clue how to put an image on the box.
I have downloaded a few tools but i am not sure which is the best ,
I am afraid to mess about to much incase i damage something.

dont worry m8 ,you wont damage anything,,so just to be sure, you have a wireless modem /router,with your 800 connected to the router with ethernet cable and your lappy wireless yea,and when you press and hold button on 800 and flash the power you put that ip in your lappy and you get the update screen

The best way to set it up is with Nabliosat pureflash29dec2008 in the flash
of your 800. Which automatically installs barry Allen,
which then allows you to Plug a usb stick in the back, then you can FTP images via DCC (dreambox control center) on to the mem stick.
But maybe its best for you to just install black hole 07 into the flash, then when you get more confident, use the pure flash method.
Power down your 800, before you switch it back on hold the standby button in on the front and it will show you the box ip, put that into your browser, fire fox is recommended for this. And its straight forward from there on.
It is quicker for you to ftp a channel list using dreambox edit, or down load from the nablio control center. A popular channel list is C@jton very easy to navigate, you can always fine tune it to your own needs.
Hope this helps mate.

i couldnt load a nab image v0.5 ,the web browser timed out,it wasnt till i installed pureflash first then nab v0.5 went straight on,

You can load BH0.5 straight on if you load bootloader 67 or later first thats all that makes it time out.
The pure image already has bootloader 69 built in hence it doesnt time out.
