Redlight card

Probably posted this in the wrong place and a bit of a daft question no doubt but.....I have an old Redlight (Viaccess) card is it any use for anything or just a case of throwing it away?

iam ,, you say old mate( i mean the card!!!) ,, dont forget redlight are now on eurobird 9 Not hotbird,, so just my guess it wont!

That is not quite correct, as the Redlight channels were renamed and they are still on Hotbird @ 11411 H 27500, and are now named as:

*** on TV Classic
*** on TV Crystal
*** on TV Diamond
*** on TV Gold
*** on TV Silver

It is the SCT or maybe better known as Satisfaction Channels that have moved to Eurobird 9 @ 9East.

There are some additional RedLight channels on 9 East, but they are not the same ones as those that are on Hotbird, and they are:

RedLight Experience
RedLight Hot
RedLight Spicy
RedLight Treat.

Firstly, was it only a 6 months card, secondly have you tried the card with the recently renamed channels, because not only did change names they also changed frequency.
