Hi

Dont use my 5400 nowadays, have you got nagra au switched to off?

Must be the incorrect key, so enter with remote after you have made sure that nagra au is set to off and not auto. Otherwise the provider will change 2 bytes on the current key thus no colours for you.

Last key change was either xmas or new years eve.

Hi

No the humax emu was never fixed, I also think that the diablo also needs auto switched off to stop the provider from changing 2 bytes in the working key.
My echolink is autrolling ok with digi tv

Hi Skomedal

We must assume that it is a humax 5400 with TOH firmware. The Naci 5700 was only Nagra1, 5300 was viaacces, 5500 was crypto. Unless of course he uses a CI module and original card or maybe diablo or similar.

I would guess at a humax 5400, however this does point out the fact that when we ask for help we need to give as much information as possible

cheers

dez

It of course maybe a more recent model with diablo

hi guys

thanks for all the replies.

My stb is a 5400, sorry should have made that clear.

I didnt think there had been a key change since xmas/new years.

My Auto is switched to off but it still wont clear evan after entering new keys!!

I am really stumped on this, never had a problem before.
I have found a new keybin but I cant enter the keys as I now have a vista laptop and when I try to download the key loader it dosent recognise it. Haven't used one in years since I was just inputting keys via the remote. Again totally baffled!!

@skomedal

This is where your mind reading skills are supposed to kick in, at least that is what the OP would appear to think.

Read the post on the hummy side:-

"" entering keys on a humax 5400 using remote""

I hope this helps.

Hi Skomedal

Hummy5400 manufactured approx 2000, toh patch introduced 2001(apologies not needed)

@cat

Now that I have more info from you I am convinced that the area where the key bin file is stored is corrupt and you need to resend the bin file using
DSR9500 EMU ed ver 5.6 CW software.

What users dont understand is that when the bin file is sent it also sends others settings including the provider ID's and this is what gets corrupted.

Vista is a pain when trying to upgrade boxes and of course not many new laptops have com ports and the com to usb converters dont allways work.

I use an old acer 500 laptop with windows xp pro onboard, cost me £35 off an auction site, well worth buying for enthusiasts.

Dont waste anymore time until you do as I suggested

Good Luck

@ dez.

About the same time as my old sammy 9500 via I still use that as a backup. also have a sammy 9500 ay ( conax ) that I use my official card ( thor cd+ ) in an arion 8000hd and the offical box from cd,,, but best of all is my hummy 2000hdci,,,,, all the boxes are connected via loopthrough to a motorised dish 1.2 meters,,, apart from the card from canal digital,,, use 2 x dragon,, 2x diablo 2.3...

Do not like to be longwinded but best u know my setup..

I have just turned my humax 5400 on and digi clears straight away, as they say keys haven't changed recently so must be something else with your box.
If you load keybin into your laptop you can read the keys by selecting nagra and then 2111 which is the digi key, I'm sure you know how to compare this with the key in the humax, don't forget to switch nagra au to off.

I have re patched the the hummy with 11.1 again(it was there orginally)

and found a key bin on another forum, however it seems that particular keybin which was dated 12.02.09 has not got the indent for digi tv 2111!!!

Is there any way to add this indent manually via the remote??

@ cat69

1: u've put in toh 11.1 - ok

2: now input pmct table - i use xamuh from july last year

above - u switch on and off when inputing

3: now input latest bin file with STB on

4: make sure u have card +emu (or +s) in TOH menu

5: make sure u have emu + emm in TOH menu

u'll find that it will now work --> nagra 2 off as well
