Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a Gib 1.2m, but note it can use a standard 40mm collar lnb, or a C120 lnb with a large feedhorn.
Does anybody know if the C120 lnb would be better than a standard lnb ? Has anybody tried both ?
Cheers, Homer

i have this dish and i did try the c120 and it was not very good a smart tit or the dark lnb is the best i have found , but bare in mind no lnb will get very weak singal , for this you need a bigger dish ,

The c120 might not be the problem.
You also have to use the gibertini feedhorn too. I have 150cm gib dish and used a matched gib feedhorn with a invacom c120 and results were better than any LNBf. The only LNBf that came close to this setup was the sharp 0.3.

I also have a 1.5m Gibertini and use a channel master feed horn and quad Invacom C120 lnb.
The channelmaster feed has the same focal distance.:respect-048:

I guess I don't know which C120 lnb.
I was kinda wondering if these bigger dishes needed a feedhorn & therefore C120 lnb due to focal length, and I want to get the most gain out of this dish.
If they are fairly equal then I will try a good standard lnbf.
Thanks for the responses :respect-048:
