Hi All
im trying to setup motorised system using above reciever
I can find most sats manually using Diseqc

But ideally would like to use USALS to find them !

I live in washington, northeast england
by using dishpointer i get the following

Latitude ( 54.9073 )
Longtitude ( -1.5303 )

my reciever will accept latitude being a positive number
but will not accept longtitude being a negative number
do i have to input another number ??

if i drive motor manually to find peak signal on any sat
then save using green button !!!
to do a channel search motor moves dish off sat ??

am i doing something wrong ??
any input appreciated

Hi, does the longitude have "E" on it ? Thats the way my Manhattan does it, so I have to press a button to get "W". Do you have the manual ??

USALS is exellent when you get it working :-)

Hi, the receiver will use West as minus, and East as positive, so just put in West 1.5303

Good luck !

For clarification, I believe the Greenwich meridian in London is East of you. East of Greenwich is "+" degrees, and west of it as you and I are is "-" degrees from that longitude. Does that make sense ? Minus is west.
