9100 keeps losing motor settings

hi there everytime i power down my 9100 it keeps losing its motor settings is there something im doing wrong when setting up any help please

Mine has never saved motor settings.

Currently using EDGE Nemesis 4.4

Soon I am selling though.

I have ur18 in the flash and its never lost a setting.
When I first set up, I had to reboot after loading each sat to save it.
Now when load image i just ftp sats and channels over.
But my dishes are moved by VBox II's and all 4 recievers have the same position number for each sat.

I can also say the tuner is better than my 7020 and it can do more.
Just wish some thing like the dm8000 appears at a sensible price, its time to get rid of the 7020 and get a hd linux machine with twin tuners, but so little to choose from

I'm nemesis in flash and in multiboot and has had no probs so far

It's where you have a base image in flash, and multiple other images mounted on a memory card, and you can choose which one to load at boot up.

If you are just starting its safer to just stay with one image and get that working first, different images work slightly differently and can become confusing.
These machine can do loads of things but i would always say get it working back-up you main bits( so recovery is quick and easy) then play and swap file,Hard drive, extra images, may be look at Card Share with you freinds but we cannot talk about that, Linux machines are a whole new way for your sat based hobby.
