You need to go into the other sat menu and then scan other frequencies manually one at a time and then it doesn't erase either the freesat or other sat channels you have already stored. Obviously you need to be selective about what you are storing because you will run out of channels.

Rabby, why crap? If dalto scans hotbird he will exceed the max number of channels which is 999. What I'm suggesting to him is to simply scan for the channels he actualy wants wants on each sat. In that way like you I'm enjoying 1w plus sports channels on 13e, 16e etc

Yes no problem. I'm using my sd receiver to move the dish and use a loop thru into the panny and scanning just sports/movies and HD which is open with diablo. It works really well. Rabby gave me the idea a few weeks back.

10,000 channels, usals and a faster tuner would be nice but as you say it's meant for freesat, not the sort of freesats we watch

Rabby, which Sony? My 40v2000 is probably slightly worse than the panny on freeview but slightly sharper on dvds, HD looks good on both. Overall I think the panny is slightly more natural look but there's not much in it and of course the sony is 2 years older.

All digital TVs on the market today have a CI cam slot.
