hello i wanted my samsung u 900 soul unlocked so i called into shop that specialize in unlocking the guy said it would be 25 pounds ok. he connected it top his pc told me it would take a while ,asked if i could come back to collect i said no, so i waited about 15 minutes while he spoke to someone on his phone ,he then said to me ,,ok take it home now and after a few hours i would receive a text message ,read it delete it switch phone off and on it would be unlocked ..i said how can i receive a text if the sim is not active ,he said it would be sent to the mobiles ime have i been tucked up,,,,,

you may not have been. When you buy a new phone and sim as soon as you contact the network to activate the sim via either another phone or on line then they send a text to your new phone and this works so hopefully all is right with yours. But I stand to be corrected if I am wrong:biggrinjester:

yes but my sim was not active
