Ok, follow THIS (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showpost.php?p=580012&postcount=11) post
and when you are done you must do a HARD reboot of the box, it will not work if you just restart enigma.
Stev0

still the same. installed the drivers etc, hard reset. nothing inserted. would it say no card inserted is the card it burnt?

Just to make sure you have everything correct copy and paste you boot file and CCcam.cfg ( remove private data from CCcam.cfg if you have any.

I have to agree that it all looks ok, I have a smargo working with the same configuration.
Have you got the reader pluged into the top USB slot ?
Other than that maybe some one who has it working with the 800 could give some advise?

Has anyone got this working now as i have been following this thread
for days now & i can't get the Smartmouse to be recognised by DM800 ?
If anyone can share their settings it would be a great help.

Hi Steve.
Yes i saw in a previous post you got an ART card working.
I have a 1 package S*y Nds card & a JSC Sports card.
Couldn't get it to read either of them.
Think we need to wait for an update to either the DM800 or the Smartmouse to get this to work properley.
cheers

Hi Kinkdink
Yes, done all that.
Will have another try tonight.
Must have rebooted my dreambox 100+ times now, with no joy so far.
Beraing in mind it takes appx 10mins to reboot each time.
cheers

i have tryed Smart VCP 3.58mhz, smart vcp 6.00mhz. rebooted everytime.
these are the settings have in my cccam.cfg:
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/usb/tts/0 6000000
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/1 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/usb/tts/1 6000000
SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyusb0 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyusb0 6000000
SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyusb1 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/ttyusb1 6000000
tryed all different clock speeds each time. got sick of rebooting. so I gave up. seems like a waste of money. it makes a nice door stop tho.
