Is it possible to reflash and enter clines onto a dm800 over the net to save me having to drive 60 miles just to put a new image in someones dreambox!!

I think it is mate, not 100% sure but I think you need to set up a dynamic dns account so that he has a static ip. Then you need to open the ports in the router for ftp and forward then to the dm800. That way you can get access to his dm remotely.

you'll need port 80 to go to dreambox as well in order to flash with webif:respect-048:
and your m8 will have to power off the box and hold the front button
done this with a 7020 so no reason a 800 would be any different
