which software can be used to edit the keys before sending back to ipbox 9000.
i managed to find the keys but i dont know how to edit my present keys / softcam before sending them back to ipbo***00

Transfering files to your IPBox/Cuberevo is the same process as a Dreambox

Switch box on

Using DCC program or similar & assuming its set up correctly to use with your box

Select FTP -on left hand side of screen you should see 'Commander' & under it approx 18 folders

Double click on 'var' folder -you should see a list of folders including 'keys & SCCE'

Assuming you have unzipped your latest (satan or similar) key file -on right hand are the files/folders on you pc

So if your key file is stored under 'my do***ents' click on that & u should see listed your key file pack

In the satan key pack will be 2 folders called 'Keys & SCCE'

Do the 'key' one 1st -double click on it & u should see keys stored inside that file

Move the cursor on screen just below the last file & left click so a box appears on screen -drag this so it covers all the key files including the higher ones out of view

So all the keys listed should be highlighted -then hit 'left button in the middle of the two colums -The keys should then transfer across to the box

Repeat process for SCCE folder -exit DCC program

Use mgcamd -remember there's not much open using keys at present

Test on Rai package @ 13 east or Digi Tv on 1west (the last one has been changing keys more frequently recently

Reboot box & new keys should be installed

thanks , i do know how to transfer the keys now, you showed me previously when i first got the 9000.about 3 months ago.
and yes its normally on mgcamd .
I like the 26e mcb's and the 1w digi .
as you say ive not tried thre rai package on 13e so maybe something of interest there for me.
Do you know of any HD film channel's that are presently open with the 9000 ?.
The reason i posted this query was so that i could update and edit my own keys, instead of relying on others. i reckon i was just too eager when tv1ooo went down . Thanks anyway.

digi tv gone again ,
should my 9000 be auto-updating ?
or do i have to keep relying on others to update keys ?

it is continously connected to net via router and mgcamd is always selected am i doing something wrong?

you need to update your softcam with new key

yes i know, update with new softcam keys,
i would if there were any showing thats recently been updated. (I cannot find any)

Judd, theres no need to edit them it only takes about 30 seconds to ftp/ transfer new files across to your box

catseye, that latest satan bundle dont open digi tv (for me anyway) but i found a softcam that does open it ,
