Hi setting up my 1.2mtr dish ive read Ozzsurf great post really good but what i cant quite understand is how do i insert my longitude into my reciever its a minus
(-4.29686)

iam using a technomate tm1500ci+ and a dreambox 500s.

here is my settings latitude ( 55.89939 )
Longitude ( -4.29686 )

my motor has only latatude on it there is no markings on the elevation of the dish so i suppose i would have to play around a bit with it to get it right.

but i would be really obliged i someone can tell me the exact setting i should be setting my latitude on my motor at going on the above settings a least then i would know i have this correct.

thanks paddyboy.

Subtract 55.90 from 90 m8,near enough 56=34 degrees try that should get you near, set to thor then adjust dish for signal.

34 is for "Elevation angle" 56 is the "latitude". Most motors have both scales on them (1 on each side) make sure you choose yhe right one.
