Thanks very much to Albert (from another forum) for posting this tool.

It's so easy to use it doesn't even need a user guide :D
You still need to have a patched version of Navcore, a patched version of 8.203 Navcore is posted here -
https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=97285
Or you can patch a genuine navcore yourself, see post no 2 here if you need to do this -

My go has v7903 and ive downloaded Map 815.2024 I gb western europe map.
I used the easy activation tool and it went through OK I put the new map file on the SD card.
My go does not see the map.
The only thing I can think of is that I copied and pasted the **** text into a file called ****.txt rather than downloading it
and I renamed the map folder as it was rather long
all clues and help gratfully receivedFirst Timer

What Go unit have you got - is it a patched version of navcore or is your v7903 an original version from Tomtom ?
If you use Albert's activation tool you will not need to do anything with the m e t a file - & finally do not rename the map folder name - it should be - Western_Europe

As you are using an original software you will need to patch it, that is why it is not working for you - see the link I've posted in first post in this thread.
What is the name of your map folder ?
If it's named ' Western_Europe ' then all you have to do is use Albert's activation tool from first post to activate your map - don't worry about doing anything with the "m e t a" file.

Thank you for that. One more thing if you don't mind. I originally downloaded the 2GB map 8152003 would that work on my 300 once I've patched the software ?

Yes it will work but you will also need to activate the map (use Albert's activation tool).

From what I've read on other forums it has worked for some users - make a back up copy & then try it & post your results.
