Cyfra+ whats needed

If i want to get an offical cyfra+ sub what do i need?

Can i just buy a prepaid card for say 12months?

Will it work in a Technomate 6900 with either a diablo or dragon cam?

Will it update, if needed ok in this setup?

Is it cheaper to pay upfront than get a monthly sub??

it definately works in diablo 2.3 on all the latest uw files. sometimes however you have to reactivate official card in the relevant cyfra site as the expiry date updates ok but ota activation fails if card is not in official receiver - i think
