Freesat card not working 6900 Super

Freesat card is not working on 6900 Super with the new 674p firmware. It is recognised as Plus card but does not decode any more. Was the support for ND$ withdrawn on purpose?

Same on the 6900 Combo, non super...

do you have a cam in also?
if so eject it then reinsert card then cam after chan 4 hd comes on.

I also have Diablo inserted. With the old patch 672p and Freesat card in TM slot everything worked without any problems. With the new patch CH4HD will not work with the card in the slot, but it works in the Diablo.

Even without Diablo inserted it does not work!

And Viasat Sirius channels are working as before, which means that support for Freesat was removed (By accident?).

So maybe we are now looking for a 'revised' 674p patch, maybe to be labelled 674Z, as there seems to be no logic on the sequential numbering of these patches when we went from 672 to 674p etc?:respect-050:

How is it that the card works in cams diablo and dragon and not in the 6900 super card slot?

my freesat card for chn4HD works on the tm 6900 original
with the 674 patch and i dont have to return it
to the official box every so often to keep it active
now the tm can be set to keep it active

on your 6900 press menu, go to system information, press ok on cas,
then press yellow button, you will see card+ enter your S*Y box serial number and it will auto update..

Well my Sly card wouldnt work at all in my TM6900HD Super whilst using version 674 patch, but when I eventually 'dared' to try the previously unproven 679 version it reads perfectly in the card slot, without the need to enter the box no. as suggested by Clipper - but had I known about going into the menu as he suggested maybe I COULD have got it to read on 674 as well!
Still better as it is on 679 though, just as it used to do on earlier patch versions!:respect-057::respect-057:

age does not count (myself over 50) when the firmware is downloaded it should show these from the menu System Information:
Model: TM-6900HD+ Super
S/W Version 6.79p (Apr 17 2009)

be sure to have the correct .STB file on the memory stick:

6900HDSuper_679p-17-04-2009.stb

Yes, mine clearly states Version 6.79 in the System Information, but to my mind no-one ever actually came back after it was first posted 17/4 to say it was ok to use, after it had originally been immediately withdrawn due to 'text errors'!:king-042:

Yup, subtitle not always showing up, have to use info button X 2 and then it shows or switch channel. Sometimes it is not showing (like english dvb) on BBC News (28.2°E).
On 1 encrypted channel I have sync problems, when this one transmits in 16:9 (official card). Technomate is aware of this, the local dealer technician has noticed the same behaviour and forwarded this to Technomate. There was a official firmware to be released arround this time. So I guess it is still in the works.
