hi. got Mvision hd sat box. i record on to my external hard drive. it plays back good but wont play on my pc. any ideas ???. thanks dee

How to converter

Play recorded file(.irm) in PC

1. convert .irm file to .mvp file using attached program (IRM_Converter.exe)
2. Play .mvp file with “VLC Media Player”
A. “VLC Media Player” is freeware
B. download at -http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
C. Now .mvp(converted file) can be played only with “VLC Media Player”, not “Window Media Player”
3. If you want to play with “Window Media Player”, you must convert .mvp file to mpeg2 file using “VLC Media Player”
A. Check “Stream/Save” option in “VLC Media Player” when you open file
B. Set “Outputs -> File”, “MPEG PS” in “Setting” menu
