Tomtom variants

I'm thinking of buying a used Tomtom. My wife has got a GO 300 that still works well and which I am familiar with. However on **** when I look I'm totally confused by the number of models 700 ,710,720 etc etc . Is there anywhere I can look that sets out the virtues, specs of the various models.

Usually the v5** units have just UK & RoI maps, v7** have Western Europe maps & v9** have all the maps.
As for the other 2 numbers - eg *10, *20, *30 & *40 - the higher the number the newer the device & possibly more features.
