View Full Version : help loading new patch to TM1600

struggling to load any patches to my tm1600.

i connect the receiver to my laptop using tm loader 1.87 and it finds it ok. it will also load the patch, but when it gets to 100%, it seems to just hang. The dialogue box doesn't change from 'Cancel' to 'Finish'. when i check the box, it still shows firmware version 2.84??

any halp anyone??

i can successfully upload new softcams to the receiver with no problem.

Which patch are you trying to load? The latest one for the 1600 is 2.96 dated 18 Feb 09. Anything else won't work.

2.96 is what i've been trying, plus the previous patches for the 1600 as they were released.

Just seems a bit strange how i can upload softcams perfectly but not the firmware...

Do a factory reset then load the latest official firmware from the TM site followed by the latest patch and softcam. I'm afraid thats all I can suggest. I'm using a Diablo with UW files so haven't resorted to the patch for ages.
