TomTom Home Updated Version Available

Over the last couple of days when Ive opened TomTom home, Ive been getting a message saying there is an updated version available, but havent updated mine yet..

Has anybody tried it yet?

Does it cause any issues if you are using updated maps "downloaded" from elsewhere ?

I'm using Home v2.6.1.1549 - no problems with map updates etc...
