Mayday Mayday Replacing a broken with new receiver

Hi guys

I would really appreciate your help. I am replacing an old Technomate TM 7755 2VA 2I with a new one. Conected it the way the old one was and by defauld and on the list wth satellites can only see 1.All satellite 2Thor 2/3. When i chose Thor 2/3 the dish moves but I dont think that the possition is correct. I have a motorised dish with Diseq.

Would like to watch 1W, Hella Sat 39 E, Hotbird.

Could somebody help please it is driving me madddd!

what is the make and model number of the new one ?
was the old one using usals or diseq v1.2 ?
have you aligned it onto 1 west as a starter ?

The new one is also TM 77552VA 2CI. The old one was using Diseq1.2. I do not know if it has been alined in onto 1W. I just connected the new one the way the old one was connected. When I go to Thor 2/3 the signal quality is 10%.

moved to the correct forum

you will have to manually position the motor using the receiver motor control until you pick up 1w and lock it in , then do the same for the other satellites

if you were using usals , you would put in your longitude and latitude and it will find them all for you

I posted in General Section as often people dont bother looking at TM section. I felt I had a better chance beeing helped.
