Hi guys is anyone using a 920?, Have managed to lose the map of the USA that comes with the 920.

Had a problam with my 920 and was told to take the USA map of the machine to make more memory, this I did and made a back up on my lap top, have some how managed to errase it.

Any help would be most welcome.

What is the latest map version you can use - I'll see what I can find for you.
If you're not sure, then try to update the Navcore using Tomtom home & then let me know the navcore version number.

[EDIT] - If you've got Navcore version 8.2 or higher you will be able to use the latest v825.2157 maps.
Can you use DLC downloader files (need programme like JDownloader) ?
What map do you want - is the North America one ok ?

Thanks for the quick reply Russel using 8.302 navcore and it is the the North America maps that I am after.

Not sure about the downloader bit you asked about will look in to this now and let you know.

If you are using an original version of Navcore you will need to 'Patch' it so you can use a copied map & then you will have to activate the map - see this thread :-
