Hi all,

hopefull somebody with alot more knowledge than myself can tell if it is possible to stream Satellite TV from my DM800 directly to my Phillips SL300i Streamium, if so how?

I can successfully stream from my DM800 to my laptop using the local network, just wanted to be to do it to my streamium.

Any support/advise would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Kev.

The Streamium is an audio device, so no way of streaming TV to it m8...

I guess it should be possible to stream satellite radio to it, either directly or via your pc. If you can stream from the DM to your PC, you can use VLC to stream on to the Streamium.

There are several different types of this unit with different connectivity (USB, wireless, ethernet) so depends on which you have.

But as you will find just about every available sat radio station streamed on the web, I can't see the point...

Hi,

I was just after streaming tv, i can stream video from the web to the Streamium no problem and it plays well.

I agree I think VLC should be ok or even TVersity which I use for vieo from the web.

As for connection, I wanted to use wi-fi.

Cheers for your advice.

There is a TVersity module for the DM7025 that works fine on my DM800 which I use to stream recorded programs to my PS3, along with divx and mp3's that I dump on the DM800.

Just search the TVersity website and you'll find it :-)

Hi Mini Me,

thank you for your advise.

With installing Tversity on the DM800, will that enable me to stream satellite tv to my phillips SL300i streamium.

Also is this the correct file to download?

enigma2-plugin-extensions-tversity_0.3.0_mipsel.ipk

Many thanks in advance.

Mini Me,

many thanks for your help so far.

Can you provide me with a guide of how to set this up on the DM800?

Also will this allow DM800 to stream tv to the Phillips SL300i streamium?

Finally, the TVersity ipk file I mentioned in my previous post, would that be suitable for DM800 as an alternative, it does say it is for Engima 2?

Thanks in advance.
