i have just aquired tm 6800hd,it had loads of problems which i have sorted out, however ican not get a signal from the lmb input,but if i put the satilite ccble in the loop out i recieve a good signal.
hope someone can help#
Your cable from the lnb should go to LNB input (3) on page 10 of your manual.
In the menu you should check the LNB power on page 16.
press menu on remote, first menu Installation arrow right Satellite Setup
LNB Power: ON
check while you here the other LNB parameters with LNB you are using
Allways disconnect mains when connecting cables.
is this a single LNB installation? No check: DisEqC settings for your installation

I may be wrong - but I 'think' there is a built in protection with the TM6000 series for the safe disconnection of the satellite cable whilst powered up?:respect-050:
