i have tried to load this image via network and it loads. however, when it reboots it still looks like a factory image. can't get it to load properly. i have loaded gemini and pli images with no problem. is there a trick to load the dsm image for the dm800. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

only thing like it i could find was DS2 V2, even having said that i dont see why any image should be different to install.

This is all I could find:

DSM-DM800 image

OE Build Configuration:
BB_VERSION = "1.8.12"
METADATA_BRANCH = "opendreambox"
METADATA_REVISION = "12986b0a47f5e813d5e811807ca930bd1 da75e62"
TARGET_ARCH = "mipsel"
TARGET_OS = "linux"
MACHINE = "dm800"
DISTRO = "opendreambox"
DISTRO_VERSION = "1.6.0"
TARGET_FPU = "soft"
ENIGMA2 = "20090302"

What's new:
First e2 image to support Dishnetwork epg
North American scan
other small fixes.

damasterchief when you say it looks like a factory image are you saying that it looks like it hasn't loaded correctly or am I misunderstanding you?

yes, it seems like it didn't install. if you install gemini, on reboot it says gemini. this looks like factory image on reboot and just hangs at the image of a boat turned upside down.
