Looks like the optimal solution in fringe signal retreval, however the price is REALLT high ~400 euro for quad setup...

Hopefully we'll see some real world tests soon...

Conversion Gain: 72 dB
ge: 12 V via external power supply

Yes 12V via external power supply, I thought that meant that they took the power via the switch box from the tuner, like a diseqc switch does... I think that the only "new" cable will be the optical one... Maybe there will be an optical/coax cable for easy installation later on, when the prices comes down (2-5 years?).

Did you read the article on invacom's homepage? It stated that they recived a gain of ~10 dB, maybe that is a fictious value... I would like to see some real world tests, maybe from that guy in Brazil with the 8m "home" made dish...
