UPDATE PROCEDURE:

First: delete camd's

Second: Settings -> Data reset -> Factory reset

Third: USB memory stick with Patch.bin in - Reboot

Fourth: Format application area [a clean install is best, I think]

Fifth: Install Patch.bin

Sixth: sort out the settings

Seventh: download and install OpenXCAS -> MultiCAS, MGcamd and NewCS [online]

Eight: Install Mbox and add cwshare.cfg

But this time Total Commander couldn't connect [FTP]. FileZilla did and only on port 22. I can't install Incubus using Damir's installer. The same issue. Last night I lost a lot of time re-installing it all a couple of times, different patches, trying to "liberate" the blocked FTP ports and so on...

On top of it all, to make it even more frustrating, I found out that my DynDNS account was deleted without a warning. One must go there, to their pages, log in, it seems, regularly, like once a week - or else...

Sometimes it's soooooooooo...:beatdeadhorse5:

Sorry to hear of your problems goran.

I saved the patch to usb, and just updated in one step with no problems

Also dont forget to rename the file in the rar file to patch.bin or the azbox wont see it.

Actually it did see it: just from .sit -> .bin. was enough.

But didn't give me the Format Application area option, strangely and sadly...

Cheerio!

Btw, certain languages do not work now [subs], as they managed to mess it up somehow, while sorting out some other stuff...

I was told that full DiSEqC 1.1 was almost done but not quite, as some bugs need to be ironed out, plus the 2 tuners stuff, also...

So, we wait a bit longer... ;) :)

There are some other bugs which I will report maybe tomorrow but then now all my files play perfectly over the network...

Even the 1080p mkv's and ISO's play fine now...

Its good that Tarzan found the update to be worth while :D

However for me ... nothing has been fixed that I wanted.

Ho Hum

Maybe next time
