Recording to hard drive problem

i have installed sata hard drive and formattedm it with in nabilo black hole pressing blue button so on so forth says inisialize (format) gives the warning pres s ok seems to have done it ,rebooted system the box sees the hard drive but when i try and record it says no hdd installed or not insialized , go to management and the hard drive is there , please help and ideas.

Ftp into the box, and go to /media/hdd

Whilst in there, make sure that there is the folder "movie". Once this folder is in there, then you should be able to record to it...
