Component leads

Not very up on this sort of thing, I have a LGRZ-37LZ31 HD tv. It only has a DVI input and no HDMI inputs but has 2 componet inputs:confused::confused:. Would the component connections give me HD pictures or will I have to use the DVI input and a separate surround sound system. I am connected to a HD sat box, any help would be appreciated.

Get a DVI-HDMI connector, cheapest and best option. HDMI is basically the same as DVI. Component will not give you as good a picture as it is not a direct digital connection.

Dreambox HD boxes do not have HDMI but DVI, and plenty of pimps will know of where to get hold of the right cable/adapter, or just pop it into google :)

Thanks for that, I have got an adaptor so I'll use the DVI input
