I've had this bloody Logitech Harmony 555 for weeks now and having mare of a time getting to opperate the DB properly, i've got it working a lot better than it was but it still aint right.

If you remember on earlier models ie the 7000 and 7020 there was an option in the menu to set the repeat rate inter-key delay etc sadly there is not that opiton avalible on the 800, so my question is does anybody happen to know the settings or where i might find them.

I've got the 885 and I found the same with my DM800, I fixed it by changing the signal length for the device in the harmony software, it took a bit of trial and error but go there in the end, it works a treat now :)

I've just ran thru step by step what i did to remedy it

Using Remote software 7.5.0
Devices,
Settings for DM800,
troubleshoot,
"Dm800 responds to some commands either too many times"
Adjust the setting
Mine is set to 2 but you may prefer 1

thanks for the replies guy's.

but beleive me i've tried every setting we can on repeat rates, inter-key rates and delay signals nothing resloves the problem completely.

i've been on to the logitech forum got no help there, and been in touch with the helpdesk they sent me some sofware to update the remote and that made no difference.

so i think this is my last hope it's to find the DB remote default settings.
