Any faster way to transfer big files to azbox?

Hi,
Just wanna know if there's a better/faster way to transfer big files such as mkv files which are more than 8 GB from laptop to the internal hard disk of azbox? I know ftp thing but isn't it way too slow? Is there a better way around?

The speed has been slowed down, as full speeds caused the box to crash

Its been promised that its on the list of things that will be sorted.:rolleyes:
