dreambox-secondstage.bb: new secondstage loader for dm8000 ... this increases cpu / system performance

TAKE CARE!!! You also need the new bootlogo package... without that the DM8000 hangs on bootup!!!

If you use BA install these when booted from your flash image.

I installed both by telnet from tmp to my Oozoon image on flash.

ipkg install /tmp/dreambox-bootlogo_5.1-r3_dm8000.ipk

ipkg install /tmp/dreambox-secondstage_73-r0_dm8000.ipk

Yes m8, although I did have to install 4.8.2 manually at the time as the vers available from the plugin menu was still 4.8.1 and wouldn't install, that may of been updated now though.

Incidently I read the new secondstage loader has implemented some L2 cache available on the CPU and that's why we have the performance increase.

When I installed 4.8.1 into Oozoon via telnet - the installer automatically downloaded v4.8.2 from Oozoon.

After successfully upgrading the secondstage_73 loader to my flash image (Oozoon), is it now necessary to do the same to all my multiboot images.

No m8, secondstage loader is like the bios of the box, see my post to understand a little more about BA
